What this bill would do
The "Connecting Veterans to Care Act of 2025" amends title 49 of the United States Code. It changes who can get urbanized area formula grants for public transportation operating costs. Specifically, it makes public transportation eligible if it services a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility. Recipients of these funds must provide a yearly certification that the money is used for this purpose. If a recipient fails to provide the transportation as certified, the Secretary shall suspend the assistance.
