What this bill would do
This bill aims to include nationals of the Republic of Korea in the E-3 nonimmigrant visa program. It amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to allow these nationals to participate based on reciprocity and an agreement determined by the Secretary of State. Employers of these individuals must be participants in good standing in the E-Verify program. The bill also establishes a numerical limit for the approval of initial applications for Republic of Korea nationals based on the remaining balance of a 10,500 annual cap after Australian applications are counted.
