What this bill would do
The "Farm Rescue Act of 2025" amends the Agricultural Act of 2014. It requires the Secretary of Agriculture to provide advance partial price loss coverage payments for the 2025 crop year if certain conditions are met. Producers on a farm can choose to receive these partial payments. The initial payment would be between 40 percent and 50 percent of the projected payment. A subsequent payment would be provided after the marketing year ends.
