What this bill would do
The "Halting Online Nonconsensual Offenses in the Ranks Act," or "HONOR Act," amends the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It expands prohibitions against the wrongful broadcast, distribution, or publication of intimate visual images. This includes both authentic images and digital forgeries. The bill covers protections for both adults and minors. Those found guilty shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
