Sport Fish Restoration, Recreational Boating Safety, and Wildlife Restoration Act of 2025

Increased Funding for Fisheries: Section 3 amends the Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act to change the funding for interstate fisheries commission activities from "Not more than $1,200,000 of each" to "Each," and adjusts the amount to the greater of 0.0375 percent of the appropriation or $200,000.

Improved Boating Infrastructure: Section 4 expands boating infrastructure priorities to include the construction, renovation, or maintenance of alternative fuel facilities or the transportation of alternative marine fuels for use by transient nontrailerable recreational vessels.

Lower Tax Rate on Bait Containers: Section 5 reduces the rate for portable, electronically-aerated bait containers from 10 percent to 3 percent.
