This program is intended to create or expand initiatives at historically Black colleges and universities and minority-serving institutions. The goal is to foster and increase opportunities for minority business ownership and entrepreneurship. Grant recipients will receive funds to provide various business development resources to student entrepreneurs. Additionally, the Act mandates the creation of a Minority Entrepreneurship Advisory Board to provide recommendations. The bill authorizes up to $50,000,000 for these purposes.
