What this bill would do
This bill, known as the "FORCE-FIT Act," directs the Secretary of Defense to implement a five-year pilot program under TRICARE. The program provides specific members of the Armed Forces with continuous glucose monitoring technology to track metabolic health in real-time. This tracking aims to improve individual health and overall force readiness. Participation is required for members identified as "Partially Medically Ready" or "Not Medically Ready" within the Individual Medical Readiness program. The Secretary is also tasked with providing education, metabolic health awareness, and training for military medical professionals.
