What this bill would do
This bill, known as the ``Federal Cyber Workforce Training Act of 2025'', requires the National Cyber Director to create a plan for a new Federal institute. This institute would act as a central training center for the Federal cyber workforce. The plan must include training for new hires and those moving into mid-career roles, as well as training for human resources personnel. The Director must consult with several agencies to develop this plan. Finally, the Director is required to brief specific congressional committees on the plan and its estimated costs.
