What this bill would do
The "No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act" stops the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development from using funds for any policy, program, or contract that knowingly uses goods from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China or covered entities. There is a process for the Secretary of State to authorize exceptions if written assurances of compliance are provided and Congress is notified. The Secretary of State must also provide an annual report for three years regarding violations and enforcement challenges.
