What this bill would do
This bill is called the "Southern Nevada Wastewater Infrastructure Lands Act". It directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer about 257 acres of Federal land in Nevada to the Clark County Water Reclamation District. The land is to be used for public purposes, specifically for wastewater infrastructure. The transfer is to happen without payment for the land itself, though the District must pay administrative costs. If the land is no longer used for public purposes, it will return to the United States.
