What this bill would do
The "Future of America's Workforce Act" requires the Bureau of Labor Statistics to publish the Contingent Work Supplement to the Current Population Survey every year. This supplement must now include information on covered technologies, which includes artificial intelligence and systems that influence human decision-making at work. If the Bureau fails to publish the supplement, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics must report the reasons and the expected publication date to Congress. The Act also requires that the data be comparable across years and made publicly available in machine-readable formats.
