What this amendment would do

Ms. Rosen submitted SA 860 to the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2025.

The amendment aims to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund at the end of title III.

This addition allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution, and make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger.

These changes are for legislation relating to supporting the vital primary care community health centers provide in every State.

The legislation may include:

  • Protecting critical funding for community health centers

  • Ensuring there are no additional freezes in funding disbursement

These revisions are allowed provided that the legislation would not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2029 or fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
