What this amendment would do
Ms. Rosen submitted SA 841 as an amendment to the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2025. Plain and simple, the purpose of this amendment is to hold the line on keeping your personal private data out of the hands of the United States DOGE Service.
What It Aims to Change
-
It adds a new section to title III of the budget resolution relating to protecting Americans' personal private data from being accessed by the United States DOGE Service.
-
It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels.
-
It allows these adjustments to be made for legislation relating to protecting the personal private data of the people of the United States from being accessed by the United States DOGE Service.
-
It ensures that any such legislation would not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
