Mr. Warnock submitted amendment SA 762 to the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025.

Purpose and Changes

The purpose of this amendment is to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund that relates to protecting incentives for domestic energy projects.

  • It aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels.
  • It allows adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to protecting incentives for domestic energy projects.
  • It may include additional Federal support for projects using American-made steel, iron, or manufactured products.
  • It requires that the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
