What this amendment would do

SA 6582, submitted by Mr. CRAMER, aims to extend the authority of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

The amendment proposes the following changes to the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945:

  • It changes the date from 2026 to 2036 in Section 7.

  • It changes the date from 2027 to 2037 in Section 6(a)(2) regarding Aggregate Loan, Guarantee, and Insurance Authority.

  • It changes the date from 2026 to 2036 in Section 2(l)(3)(C) regarding the Program on China and Transformational Exports.
