SA 6573, submitted by Mr. Budd and Mr. Coons, aims to add a section to bill S. 4784 titled the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act of 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

Change the authorization of appropriations in section 207(a) of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 from 2025 and 2026 to 2026 through 2028.
Extend the authorization in section 209 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 from September 30, 2026, to December 31, 2028.
