What this amendment would do

SA 6547, submitted by Mr. Cramer and Mr. Warner, aims to extend the authority of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

The amendment makes the following changes:

  • It changes the date in Section 7 of the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945 from December 31, 2026, to February 28, 2027.

  • It changes the date in Section 2(l)(3)(C) of the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945, regarding the Program on China and Transformational Exports, from December 31, 2026, to February 28, 2027, in every place it appears.
