SA 6544, submitted by Ms. Alsobrooks, aims to change section 342(b) of bill S. 4784.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a requirement to include an assessment, created with the Federal Aviation Administration, regarding security risks of air traffic control systems.

through the "Brand New Air Traffic Control System".

The assessment must specifically cover risks or vulnerabilities caused by any entity owned or controlled by a country listed in section 202.601 of title 28, Code of Federal Regulations, or any business or legal relationship a supporting third party has with such a country.
