What this amendment would do

SA 6460, submitted by Mr. Hickenlooper, aims to add a new section to title VII of bill S. 4784.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Secretary of Defense to:

  • Conduct a study on how immigration enforcement operations since January 20, 2025, have impacted the mental health of members of the Armed Forces.

  • Submit a report on that study to Congress within 180 days after the Act is enacted.
