What this amendment would do

SA 6342, submitted by Mr. Schumer and Mrs. Gillibrand, aims to add a new section to the bill titled "Limitation on Use of Funds to Limit Collective Bargaining."

The purpose of this amendment is to stop the Department of Defense from using any funds authorized in the Act for fiscal year 2027 to do the following:

  • Implement Executive Order 14251 (issued March 27, 2025) regarding exclusions from Federal labor management relations programs.
  • Implement any following policy or guidance related to that order.
