What this amendment would do

SA 6208, submitted by Ms. Murkowski, aims to add a section to title VII of bill S. 4784.

The purpose of this amendment is to establish a pilot program where the Secretary of Defense designates pregnancy as a qualifying life event. This designation is for the purpose of enrolling in or modifying enrollment in a health plan option under the TRICARE program.
