What this amendment would do

SA 6036, submitted by Mr. Peters and Mr. Rounds, aims to change the expiration date of a specific law.

The purpose of this amendment is to provide a ten-year extension of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015. It does this by changing the date in Section 111(a) from September 30, 2026, to September 30, 2036.
