What this amendment would do

SA 5984, submitted by Mr. Graham, aims to change the rules regarding where military uniform clothing is produced.

The purpose of this amendment is to require that military uniform clothing sold at exchange stores and commissaries be produced in the United States.

It achieves this by adding Section 624 to subtitle C of title VI, which amends Section 4862(g)(1) of title 10, United States Code, by inserting the phrase "(other than military uniform clothing)" after the word "items".
