What this amendment would do

SA 5907, submitted by Mrs. Murray, aims to change the date in Section 5542(a)(6)(B) of title 5, United States Code.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

  • Extend the date for overtime pay for Department of the Navy employees who perform work for naval vessels outside the United States.
  • Change the date from September 30, 2026, to September 30, 2028.
