What this amendment would do

SA 5745, submitted by Mr. Schiff, is an amendment to amendment SA 5453 regarding bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to add Sec. 204, which prevents Department of Homeland immigration officials from using funds from this Act to carry out enforcement actions against individuals based solely on information from the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database unless they have a judicial warrant.
