S.Amdt. 5727

SA 5727, submitted by Mrs. Warren, aims to replace section 202 of amendment SA 5453 to bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to express the sense of the Senate on two main goals:

• Reducing the likelihood that more children will be denied health care by repealing health care funding reductions mandated under Public Law 119-21.

• Guaranteeing funding for the Rural Health Transformation Program by ensuring funds allotted to States remain available until they are spent and by eliminating the redistribution of unobligated or unexpended funds from those allotments.
