What this amendment would do

SA 5678, submitted by Mr. Blumenthal, aims to add a section to bill S. 2 regarding a Plan to Bring Vetted Afghan Allies to the United States.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Secretary of Homeland Security to develop and implement a plan to bring vetted Afghan allies to the United States. This must be done no later than 1 year after the Act is enacted.
