What this amendment would do

SA 5622, submitted by Mr. HEINRICH, aims to add a new section to title I of bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to make the following changes:

Add Funding: It appropriates $200,000,000 to the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency for fiscal year 2026 to provide assistance through the Shelter and Services Program. These funds remain available until September 30, 2029.
Reduce Funding: It changes the amount appropriated under section 102 to $7,250,000,000.
