What this amendment would do

SA 5564, submitted by Mr. PETERS, aims to add two sections to bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to rescind unobligated balances of funds from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (Public Law 119-21).

Specifically, it seeks to change the bill by adding the following:

  • A section in title I to rescind unobligated balances from sections 90001, 90002, 90003, 90004, 90006, and 90007 of title IX of that Act.

  • A section in title II to rescind unobligated balances from title X of that Act.
