What this amendment would do

SA 5466, submitted by Mr. CASSIDY, aims to add a specific requirement to bill S. 2.

The purpose of this amendment is to change when a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer is entitled to an annuity. Under this proposal, an officer is not entitled to the annuity unless they meet these conditions:

They have completed 20 years of service in that position.
They have become 55 years of age.
They are separated from the service, provided it is not a removal for cause on charges of misconduct or delinquency.
