What this amendment would do

SA 4781, submitted by Ms. Murkowski, is an amendment to a series of previous amendments (SA 4732 and SA 4420) to bill S. 1383, which establishes the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access.

The purpose of this amendment is to change the effective date of the section and its amendments. It aims to:

Set the effective date to 1 year after the Act is enacted.
Apply these changes to elections for Federal office held on or after that date.
Make conforming amendments to the Help America Vote Act of 2002, specifically changing "1 day" to "1 year" in Section 303A(f) and adding "1 year after" to Section 311(b)(4).
