What this amendment would do

SA 4746, submitted by Mr. Warnock, is an amendment to SA 4420 regarding bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a new section called Application Only to Certain States.

It aims to change the bill so that the provisions and amendments in title I only apply to a State for a Federal office election if the following occurred during the preceding Federal office election in that State:

More than 100 noncitizens were convicted of an offense under section 611 of title 18, United States Code.
More than 100 noncitizens entered a plea of guilty or no contest to an offense under section 611 of title 18, United States Code.
