What this amendment would do

SA 4718, submitted by Ms. Blunt Rochester, is an amendment to SA 4420 regarding bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a section titled Protection of Voter Information to section 101.

This amendment aims to change the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 by:

Updating specific subparagraphs within paragraph (4) of Section 8(j).
Adding a new paragraph (6) stating that a State is not required to provide voter registration data or identifying information of a registered voter to the Federal Government or a Federal agency for citizenship verification.
