What this amendment would do

SA 4714, submitted by Mr. Wyden, is an amendment to bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to end specific duties proclaimed by the President.

It aims to add a section stating that, starting on the date the Act is enacted, any duties proclaimed by the President in Proclamation 11012 (91 Fed. Reg. 9339) under the authority of section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2132) will no longer have any force or effect.
