S.Amdt. 4694

SA 4694, submitted by Mr. Kim, aims to add a new title regarding the effective date of the act.

The purpose of this amendment is to change when the act takes effect by adding the following:

• The provisions and amendments of the act will not apply until every state has submitted a specific report.
• Within 30 days of the act being enacted, each state must send a report to the Election Assistance Commission.
• This report must describe the reasonable accommodations the state will provide to satisfy the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and section 6(e)(3) of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.
