What this amendment would do

SA 4676, submitted by Ms. Hirono, is an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 4420 for bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a new section titled "SEC. 2. FINDINGS." to the bill.

This section adds the following findings:

Joseph R. Biden, Jr. received a majority of votes in the 2020 presidential election.
He was certified by the Electoral College on January 7, 2021, and was elected the 46th President of the United States according to the Constitution and relevant laws.
The United States Department of Justice, State election officials, and courts of law found no evidence of fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 election.
