What this amendment would do

SA 4664, submitted by Ms. Murkowski, is an amendment to amendment SA 4420 for bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to change the text on page 36, line 12. It aims to add and change the following:

It replaces ``Effective Date.--'' with a new section regarding Application.
This new section states that the requirements of subsection (a) only apply to people who registered to vote after the date this section is enacted.
It adds a new heading for Effective Date.
