What this amendment would do

SA 4623, submitted by Mr. SCHIFF, aims to change the funding and availability of funds for the Rural Health Transformation Program.

The amendment seeks to make the following changes to Section 2105(h) of the Social Security Act:

It increases the amount from $10,000,000,000 to $20,000,000,000 where it appears in paragraph (1)(A).
It changes the heading of paragraph (1)(B) from "Unexpended or unobligated" to "Availability of".
It updates paragraph (1)(B) to state that funds allocated to a State from appropriated amounts shall remain available until they are expended, subject to clause (ii).
