What this amendment would do
SA 4553, submitted by Mr. WYDEN, is an amendment to bill S. 1383.
The purpose of this amendment is to change the corporate tax rate. It aims to:
- Strike the 21 percent rate in Section 11(b).
- Insert a 22.1 percent rate in its place.
This change would apply to taxable years that begin after the date the Act is enacted.
