The purpose of this amendment is to express the sense of the Senate that funding for fiscal year 2026 should be increased by 10 percent for the following NIH activities:

National Cancer Institute
Alzheimer's disease-related dementias research
National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases
National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke
