What this amendment would do
Mr. King submitted amendment SA 452, which proposes adding a new section to title III of the concurrent resolution. What It Aims to Change
-
It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.
-
It allows adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to preventing the Department of Government Efficiency from accessing sensitive systems and confidential data at the Social Security Administration.
-
It requires that the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
