SA 4435, submitted by Mr. Gallego, is an amendment to bill S. 1383.

The purpose of this amendment is to end the increased tariff-rate quota on beef imported from Argentina that was proclaimed by the President in Proclamation 11010.

It aims to add a section to the bill that ensures:

The increase in the tariff-rate quota has no force or effect.
The tariff-rate quota for beef from Argentina that was in effect on February 5, 2026, will apply.
