What this amendment would do

SA 4398, submitted by Mr. Kennedy, is an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 4308 (proposed by Mr. Scott and Ms. Warren) to bill H.R. 6644. This bill is intended to increase the supply of housing in America and for other purposes.

The purpose of this amendment is to change section 205(b)(2)(A)(ii)(II) by striking items (aa) and (bb) and adding the following:

(aa) the difference in the number of housing units, as of the third quarter of the preceding fiscal year, in the jurisdiction of the eligible recipient, as calculated by the Secretary.
(bb) the difference in the number of housing units, as of the third quarter of the preceding fiscal year, in the jurisdictions of all eligible recipients that receive a bonus amount under this paragraph, as calculated by the Secretary.
