What this amendment would do

SA 4356, submitted by Mr. Schumer, is an amendment to amendment SA 4308 regarding bill H.R. 6644, which focuses on increasing the supply of housing in America.

The purpose of this amendment is to add or include housing cooperatives and cooperative housing in several sections of the existing text. Specifically, it aims to change the following:

Add housing cooperatives after condominiums on page 7.
Update page 12 to include an owner-occupant of the cooperative housing unit and an owner-occupant of the manufactured home where repairs are happening.
Add cooperative housing before regulations on page 65.
Add housing cooperative after trust on page 199.
Add housing cooperative corporations before public housing agencies on page 228.
