What this amendment would do

SA 4335, submitted by Mr. Sullivan and Ms. Murkowski, aims to add a section to bill H.R. 6644 regarding a report on housing in Alaska.

The purpose of this amendment is to require the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to have the Tribal Intergovernmental Advisory Committee do the following:

Extract and compile information, issues, recommendations, and background relevant to the State of Alaska from Advisory Committee reports.
Submit a report called "The Alaska Housing Task Force Report" to the House Committee on Financial Services, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
Make this report publicly available within 180 days after the Act is enacted.
