What this amendment would do

SA 4195, submitted by Mr. Cruz, is an amendment to the joint resolution S.J. Res. 98.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a statement to the end of section 1. It aims to add language that commends the following individuals and groups for their efforts in the successful mission regarding the capture of Nicolas Maduro on January 3, 2026:

Members of the United States Armed Forces
The intelligence community
President Donald J. Trump
All those involved in the operations within Venezuela related to the capture
