What this amendment would do

SA 4098, submitted by Mr. HICKENLOOPER, is an amendment to H.R. 4016, which deals with appropriations for the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to stop the use of any funds from the Act to do the following regarding the Environmental Protection Agency proposed rule called "Reconsideration of 2009 Endangerment Finding and Greenhouse Gas Vehicle Standards":

  • Finalize the rule
  • Issue the rule
  • Implement the rule
