What this amendment would do

SA 4079, submitted by Mr. Sanders, is an amendment intended for amendment SA 3951 and bill H.R. 4016, which covers appropriations for the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

  • Transfer $340,000,000 to the Community Health Center Fund.
  • Use unobligated amounts from the Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund for this transfer.
  • Provide these funds in addition to amounts already appropriated for primary health care under title II.
