What this amendment would do
SA 4061, submitted by Mr. Warnock, is an amendment to SA 3951 and H.R. 4016.
The purpose of this amendment is to stop any money from being used to change the name of a Department of Defense asset in the State of Georgia. Specifically, it aims to ensure that any asset name adopted by the commission established under section 370(b) of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 cannot be changed to any other name.
