What this amendment would do
SA 4043, submitted by Mr. Reed, aims to add a section to bill H.R. 4016.
The purpose of this amendment is to require the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to do the following by February 13, 2026:
- Noncompetitively renew all existing youth homelessness demonstration projects and continuum of care grants that expire during calendar year 2026 for one 12-month period.
- Make reasonable cost-of-living adjustments for supportive services.
